Concept of studies within the specialty
This specialty combines knowledge and skills in accounting with knowledge and skills in computer science. Students are able to use financial accounting systems in organizations, know the requirements of accounting policies and legal requirements (such as protection of industrial property, copyrights, software licenses) regarding the application of financial accounting systems and methods of designing and implementing these systems. They can use financial and accounting programs for ongoing processing and recording of business-related data (accounting, sales, stock, etc.), analysis, modeling and forecasting of economic processes and phenomena, as well as a tool to assist business units.

They can work in finance and accounting services centers, computer information processing centers and centers for the implementation of IT systems supporting management, consulting firms, financial services organizations (banks, insurance companies, investment funds). They are prepared to include independent positions in the areas of financial accounting, management and controlling, as well as work in the accounting and financial management departments of business entities and budgetary units.
