This Saturday, January 12, the 27th Final of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity will take place, in which members of the Scientific Circle of Psychology at the Radom Academy of Economics become involved as volunteers. Fundraising will take place at both WSH campuses, ie buildings at ul. Traugutta 61a and Mazowiecki 7a.
The aim of this year’s WOŚP Finale is to raise funds for the purchase of modern medical equipment for specialist children’s hospitals. These are branches with II and III degree of referentiality branches, i.e. those that can make a specialist diagnosis and provide medical assistance to the most severely ill children. There are nearly 50 such hospitals in Poland today. They range from the entire country. In facilities of this type, modern equipment meeting the highest standards is particularly important, which gives physicians and medical staff the best possible diagnosis and treatment of the most difficult cases.
In order to achieve the goal of the 27th Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, the Foundation will focus primarily on specialist diagnostic facilities – especially imaging, radiological and laboratory. Hospitals include such advanced devices as: magnetic resonances, computer tomographs, X-ray diagnostic equipment (including mobile devices), high-end ultrasound scanners, echocardiographs or endoscopic equipment with a video track for gastroenterology.
We encourage you to support this noble work!
