The concept of study on the specialization
The aim for students of this specialization is to acquire knowledge and skills in accounting and public finance, with particular emphasis on Polish tax law. During the studies, the student learns the principles of financial, management and tax accounting and tax management. Students also learn to conduct comprehensive financial-accounting services for companies, using newest informatics solutions. They gain knowledge on bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements in accordance with Polish and international accounting standards. Students will be able to effectively manage the finances of the company, analyze the current economic and financial situation and to develop proper capital portfolio of the company. They learn the rules of controlling and issues related to the enforcement of receivables.

A graduate of this course is able to work in companies, banks, state and local government institutions on positions of financial analyst, accountant, and adviser for financial and tax policy, a specialist for the tax and accounting, internal auditor, etc. He could also work in the sector of public finance (Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Finance’s Data Center, tax offices) in consulting companies specializing in tax and investment advices. Graduates will also be well prepared to start and manage their own business (i.e. accounting office).
